Well hello there, thanks for stopping by!
Twenty-something lass that was born and raised in the Middle East. I’m a food enthusiast, book lover and creative soul. Thanks for taking the time to drop by.
Current Location: Cornwall, UK
I started The Feel Good Revolution back in March 2015 as a little outlet for myself and because too many people were telling me I needed to share my recipes.
It’s a space I’ve created where I invite any and all to stride to the beats of their own drum. History after all wasn’t made by those that simply followed. It was made by the ‘rebels’ and ‘hell raisers’, those that defied convention and embraced their spirit because they believed in something more.
We only have one life and be damned if I’m going to spend it worrying about what other people have to say about me.
This blog is for us; you and me. It’s a safe positive place where anything goes and everyone is welcome. I’m not here to dictate how you should live your life, I’m here to share experiences and hopefully inspire creativity.
There is only ONE rule here.
I write and make videos about EVERYTHING and ANYTHING! Recipes, lifestyle tips, pick me ups, foolish rambles…blah blah blah the list goes on. I do not consider myself an expert nor do I take myself too seriously. This is a fun and creative spot where we can celebrate life and the fact that we are all amazing.
I’m here for every single one of you so don’t be shy, say hi!
WHY Start a blog?
I’m a creative soul with a passion for life. I see the world differently to some people and that’s ok. Too many people mistake confidence for arrogance. Why should we apologise for being who we are if we are content with ourselves? We shouldn’t, fact. Arrogance is a nasty trait but self-love is admirable. I am happy and greatful for what I have and I want to share it with whomever I can.
It’s that simple.
I’ve been through a lot these past few years (haven’t we all?!). The intimate details aren’t relevant. All you guys need to know is I compensated for it all by eating my emotions in the form of extra cheese, supersize and more sugar please.
June 2014 I was at my heaviest. 84kg (13.22 stone).
With a simple lifestyle change and attitude adjustment I then lost 20kg over the course of a year.
AND I DID IT ALL FOR MYSELF.
No one else. Just me, myself and I. No radical diets or stringent exercise routines. I did what I wanted, when I could and for all the right reasons.
HERE you can see what ignited my thirst to know more about health and wellness.
SO WHAT’S THE PLAN?
I want to share my experiences with you. The good, bad and ridiculous. I’m going to be nothing but real with you all, otherwise what’s the point?!
I don’t want to be another ‘lifestyle blogger’. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, I just personally don’t want The Feel Good Revolution to be defined as one genre. Life after all never sticks to one path. There’s too much of the same thing circulating the internet already, the online world needs a little jazzing up.
I’m here wanting to start a revolution that get’s every man, woman, teen and child off their arse and shouting,
Because we are. We achieve so much yet all we tend to focus on is the negatives.
I challenge you to do something today to make yourself smile.
Why not make choices so you are not only healthy in body but also in mind and spirit.
JUST REMEMBER IT’S:
AND NO ONE ELSE’S BUSINESS
