Antioxidant Salad in a Jar

an on the go lunch Riddled with ninja ingredients


You’ll need:

  • A handful of mixed salad leaves
  • ½ tbsp of mixed seeds
  • 1 tbsp of almonds (broken)
  • 1 small handful of Blackberries
  • 1 small handful of strawberries
  • Pomegranate pearls
  • 1 Carrot
  • Your favourite vinaigrette

The how to:

  1. Grab a jar and layer.
  2. Start with your dressing and other wet ingredients aka berries, tomatoes and cucumber.
  3. Layer your moister resistant veggies. I used carrot and pomegranate pearls.
  4. Then add the protein. In this case it would be the nuts and seeds. It can also involve pasta and other crunchies.
  5. Lastly add your greens and seal your jar.
